Here are a few things that were discussed at the last council meeting on July 6th: the council discussed putting the road in front of the fire station to cement, however the cost was to great and the council decided not to pursue the project. There was a change to a city ordinance number #173, pertaining to the keeping of pit bulls. The council lifted the ordinance to prohibit them in town. The council voted to buy a vacant lot on main street. There was also a discussion on taking out all of the asbestos in the old school and refreshing a quote that was given in 2018. Next meeting is scheduled for Aug 10th at 6pm. I wanted to say “Thank You” to the community and all the volunteers who helped on the 4th of July at the South Park and Swimming pool.
