There has been some confusion regarding the renewal fees for Dog Tags. Please note that all Dog Tags expire on December 31st and are due for renewal on January 1st. If the renewal is not done by January, you will be considered past due, and if it is not done by July 1st, you will be considered delinquent. In case of a delayed renewal, a monthly fee of $5.00 will be added to the total amount until it is paid.
To avoid confusion for dog owners, the Council will be reviewing this ordinance at the April meeting to potentially update or change it. Additionally, please remember to provide the updated vaccination records to City Hall when you get your dog's vaccinations, and bring a copy with you. Thank you for your cooperation.
